Brand New Website!!!
Hey y'all!
This is gonna be all over the place, bear with me pls
About a year ago I was working on my first set of charms, figuring out where to sell em, and venturing into this whole small business thing. My original plan was to start selling at local anime conventions while I continue my years long search for a stable job :')
Things sorta went off the rails from there. Still no stable job TT (<- this is a crying text emoticon for those unaware), haven't tabled at cons, but my charms turned into more charms, into prints, stickers and then a plushie!! I had no idea I'd be here working on my first "official" website after sort of outgrowing my ko-fi shop.
I guess the main reason I'm writing this is the equivalent of like, hitting champagne against a boat, making a toast, or idk, something celebratory like cutting the ribbon at an opening ceremony. A custom URL and shop might seem trivial, but this is like a BIG big step. I can offer gift cards, shipping discounts (shoutout international peeps, sorry everything is so expensive TT), and much more! For example, this blog I hope to use for updates :D
To get to this point though, I couldn't have done it without y'alls support :') Seriously. Major major thanks to all my friends and my parter who had my back and convinced me to start my shop, who pushed me to make all the stuff I do and contributed financially to getting some of this stuff made, to my mom and sister who would drive me to the post office late at night so I could send out packages without talking to someone at a counter, and to y'all for supporting this silly shop of mine with every single one of your purchases, be it big or small. It makes me so incredibly happy when I get tagged in a post and see people getting their charms or the adventures of their Kitty Joes. (Honestly, part of this blog might just be adding on said photos or posts of his many travels y'all take him on lol)
Anyways, I'm typing this in May, but y'all will probably be reading this in June, SO!! First blog post means first shop update B)
